In this video titled ‘CYMATICS’ we see science and sound come together to create some truly mesmerising visual illusions. Unlike a lot of what you see these days, all these effects are practical and very much real and it took a team of people to create them.

We will never be able to slow down time, but if you are lucky enough to be a Hollywood actor then the chances are you’ve got as close as you possibly can – by being filmed in epic slow motion.

This video put together by Nerdwriter1 compiles Hollywood movies, TV drama series and music videos together to make one massive mashup of all the slow motion we used in 2014.

As you can see – we loved slow motion in 2014. But can you blame us? if used properly in cinema and TV it makes for some epic moments.

Bollywood Is The Master Of Unrealistic Movie Scenes E-mail
(6 votes, average: 3.33 out of 5)
Have you ever watched an action movie and thought to yourself “oh come on, as if that would really happen”. This is certainly one of those movies. In this scene from the film Singham, a Bollywood action movie from 2011, a man steps out of a moving car without even flinching and shoots the tyre of an oncoming speeding vehicle. It then dramatically barrel rolls through the air and he managed to pull the driver out of the car.

Come on Bollywood, really?!.

a couple of robot bands machines that play actual instruments

While following on the coat tail of my first popular video "Queen Bohemian Rhapsody Old School Computer Remix" i tried to change the venue and built a couple of robot bands (yeah! machines that play actual instruments). These videos didn't fair as well so i decided to go back to the basics and create another video utilizing old computer equipment. For this video i recorded each instrument separately with a decent stereo mic and i also used a mixer to adjust the audio levels. i would like to point out that absolutely no sampling or audio effects were used.
