On October 11th Japan detonated the worlds biggest firework at the end of a firework display in the city of Konosu in Saitama. During the display around 15,000 fireworks were estimated to have been set off, but none would have topped the very last. Weighing in at a stagerring 460 kg, a diameter of 105cm and length of four foot the firework has now secured its self in the Guinness World Records. The firework can be seen in this video at around 0:32 soaring 530 meters in the air, exploding into a dazzling array of colours that span around 750 meters.
